I have had the wi-fi pet door for a few years and it has worked without incident. Recently the door would not open when our dog was outside looking to come back in. It would only open if I held the colla up close to the door sensor. I called customer service and described this problem. They determined I needed a new sensor. I came within a week and I was able to disassemble my door and install the new sensor. The part is actually both sensors wired together. The entire project took about an hour. No special skills needed just a little patience, and take your time. Working flawlessly

When we opened the back of the pet door, we found that one of the wires had broken off the sensor. The replacement was easy to install and our 17 year old pet door now works great again. Thank you!
